At the northern side of the Costa Blanca coast, bordering the Coast of Valencia, Denia offers the visitor an exquisite combination of marine gastronomy, hotels and restaurants, beaches, sunny weather, and a rich historical and cultural heritage. It is situated in the heart of the San Antonio Cape, with spectacular views of the Montgo Mountain at the back, where many caves can be visited. Denia has a 20 km long coastline, with fine sand beaches in the northern part, called Les Marines, and steep and rocky sections at the southern part beaches, called Les Rotes. In the yachting harbour, nautical activities such as Windsurf, sailing, canoeing and scuba diving can be practised.
Denia is the nearest peninsular city to the Balearic Islands, and therefore the main home port to visit Ibiza and all the Balearic Islands. |
